Mike and Beth Fisher and family

Mike Fisher has been with Minutemen Ministries since 2005. He had the privilege of traveling with Dr. Jim Van Gelderen and Evangelist Billy Ingram as a team captain for the War Blitz, The War, and the War of Special Forces. Mike was on staff as a ministry coordinator before being asked to pioneer the Real Character ministry that he is conducting today. He has also been the coordinator for the Teen Revival Conference since 2009.

During his senior year at Baptist College of Ministry in 2008, Michael began pioneering a unique branch of Minutemen Ministries. His program penetrates a realm of which traditional Minutemen teams have only dreamed. Mike and his team lead Minutemen’s trademark competitions; however, the program takes place in the public school during the school day. The ministry is called Real Character.

Mike, his wife Beth, his three children, and his team are living out every Minutemen team member’s dream, that is, to rub shoulders all day with public school teens who need to hear the gospel. The Real Character team members are given access to the public high school for two full school days.  The daytime program consists of competitions and “Character Talks,” which are value lectures on pertinent issues of teens today. This is followed up with Minutemen’s trademark three-night competition and evangelistic outreach. The evening events are held either at the rented school facility or at the local church that is sponsoring the event. Mike has seen literally hundreds of teens saved since the ministries’ inception in 2008. You may read more about the ministry at www.realcharacter.org.

In addition to approaching principals and leading the Real Character program, Mike has conducted revival meetings and preached in Christian camps across the nation.
